Goodbye Adrian Quek - A Crabby Affair!

As some of you know, our dear friend Adrian is leaving soon on some work assignment. I remembered I promise him to eat crabs with him before he leaves. So yar Adrian this is an outing just for you.

Next week Tuesday 29th July, we will meet up for dinner with Mr Quek. We will have stir fry crabs and stuffies for dinner.

Place: unconfirmed. Muslim friends do you all know of any good halal crab eating place?

NIE 'Hall Warming'

Guys, this is an advance invitation.

As you guys know, some of us are moving into hall. So we decided to hold a 'Hall Warming'! It will be a potluck! We can have games like tennis, captains ball, mahjong ... whatever NTU can offer us haha.

Jilyn and I have agreed to have it on the 16th of Aug. Location to be confirmed. All (teachers or non-teachers) are welcomed! The rest of the hall people are invited to join the organizing committee.

So what do you have to do if you want to join us?

Graduation Party: Help needed for location!

Guys, 

We might not be able to have the graduation party at the intended location cos Tracy has some family guests. So we have to find a new location.

Any Ideas?

Ideas give so far include...

3. East Coast Park

Anyways this time around, We might not have a BBQ. We where thinking of having the same style as the last day of school party... aka someone will just deploy others what to buy. 

But in the mean time, just give some ideas and comments.

1. Jelena has highlighted that some of us want to go back to geo department for photo taking. This means, dinner will probably be later. But the good news is... we can 'pig' at UCC... cos of the refreshments.

What is this blog about?

Okie all, this is going to be a 'trial run' to see if the blog system suits our class.

Introduction

Well firstly, this idea is not permanent. Secondly, this idea will help reduce the amount of emails in our mailboxes. Thirdly, this method is not a retaliation towards the new yahoogroup that was set up. Its just a trial to see if it is more convenient.

How does this blog work?

If you have an outing, you can add a new post. Then anyone who wants to register his/her attendance or have queries on the outing, just simply add to the comments. In this way we reduce the need to click different emails at the same time reduce the number of emails. Of cos, if you got stuff to introduce the class (such as a youtube or a joke), you can also post it up here.

The main impetus to why I am setting up a 'blog and comment' way to communicate with you all is because, I am too sick of worrying that nobody check email or email refuses to work (trust me, that has been a problem for the pass 1 week). Furthermore, this system allows us to browse total people going, comments, similar post on a topic all at one go.
