Change in Sizing

Hello all,

Sorry for flooding the emails again.

I just met the supplier for samples of the Dry Fit tees. The quality of the tees are very good.

Only issue so far is the size, especially for the smaller sizes. Some girls who have tried out the samples have decided to change to one size smaller. While others have not.

Examples:
Elaine and Afidah have down sized from S to XS.
While Leon, Faisal and Ain still remain L, M and S respectively.

My Advice:
THe larger sizes (L and M) have no issue. XL is untested. The biggest issue is (S and XS) as some claim it to be too big.
If you like a tighter fit (especially S), take one size smaller.

Please let me know about size changes latest by tomorrow 1330 pm (Especially for the Kuantan people).

For those who have not place an order, you have up to friday 12 noon to place an order but it means you will get the tee shirt only after the 7th of Oct. I will try to rush in all orders so the aunty can give us the tees on next tuesday!

The 1st ever Singapore Geographer's Tee

The lay out

Hey Guys, I guess some of you have heard news of the geographer's tee that the NIE geo teachers have created.

Yar, we made a tee to be sold to any geographer in Singapore and I guess some of you would like to get your hands on it.

One piece cost about 9 bucks. They are dry fit, rounded neck tees.

How do you get it?
Just email or sms me your size and the choice of you colour. You can get as many as you can k?

Just a suggestion, you may want to buy these tees for you supervisor or what... I thinking of buy for some of them ... Harvey, Savage and Wongs Poh poh, anyone want to share with me for any of the lecturers?

There is no way I can ask all the geographers, so you all might want to help me spread the news and CONSOLIDATE your friends orders for me... please do not... do not... ask you friend's friend's friend to call me... thanks.

Prawning this week!

Hello folks,

As discussed with some of you guys, there will be a prawning session this week.

The time is set at 8pm.
Location is bottle tree village, Sembawang.
Price is 14.5 per hour.

Problem is ... shall we have it on Friday as discussed or Saturday?
Seemingly Saturday is better cos the bimbos Sarah and Naf can come along.

Get together dinner at the Riverside!

Dear All,

there will be a get together dinner this coming friday at the Riverside Indonesian Restaurant, Riverside Point (opposite Clark Quay). The time of the dinner would be 7pm.

The restaurant bears no halal sign because it sells tiger beer at the place. However, I called them and they said the food menu is halal and all food is prepared for Muslim customers.

I think its a great time to get together despite our busy schedule, work stress and of cos, the tons of assignments the NIE teachers have to submit soon. haha. I thought I would not feel comfortable going due to the assignments due next week, but then, all work no play makes Leon a unmotivated boy.

Dark Knight Movie outing

Hey all for those who have no friends and haven't watched the dark knight. A few of us will be watching it this week, 080808.... yes this is no joke.

Goodbye Adrian Quek - A Crabby Affair!

As some of you know, our dear friend Adrian is leaving soon on some work assignment. I remembered I promise him to eat crabs with him before he leaves. So yar Adrian this is an outing just for you.

Next week Tuesday 29th July, we will meet up for dinner with Mr Quek. We will have stir fry crabs and stuffies for dinner.

NIE 'Hall Warming'

Guys, this is an advance invitation.

As you guys know, some of us are moving into hall. So we decided to hold a 'Hall Warming'! It will be a potluck! We can have games like tennis, captains ball, mahjong ... whatever NTU can offer us haha.

Graduation Party: Help needed for location!

Guys, 

We might not be able to have the graduation party at the intended location cos Tracy has some family guests. So we have to find a new location.

Any Ideas?

Anyways this time around, We might not have a BBQ. We where thinking of having the same style as the last day of school party... aka someone will just deploy others what to buy.

What is this blog about?

Okie all, this is going to be a 'trial run' to see if the blog system suits our class.

Introduction

Well firstly, this idea is not permanent. Secondly, this idea will help reduce the amount of emails in our mailboxes. Thirdly, this method is not a retaliation towards the new yahoogroup that was set up. Its just a trial to see if it is more convenient.

How does this blog work?

If you have an outing, you can add a new post. Then anyone who wants to register his/her attendance or have queries on the outing, just simply add to the comments. In this way we reduce the need to click different emails at the same time reduce the number of emails. Of cos, if you got stuff to introduce the class (such as a youtube or a joke), you can also post it up here.

The main impetus to why I am setting up a 'blog and comment' way to communicate with you all is because, I am too sick of worrying that nobody check email or email refuses to work (trust me, that has been a problem for the pass 1 week). Furthermore, this system allows us to browse total people going, comments, similar post on a topic all at one go.

Get the basic idea?
